This policy explains how ResumeCraft ("we", "us") at https://resume-8wo.pages.dev collects and uses information when you use our website and resume builder.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address and a securely hashed version of your password (we never store your actual password). If you sign in with Google, your Google profile name and picture.
• Resume content: the information you enter into your resumes. It is private unless you turn on a public link.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Razorpay. We store the order and payment IDs and amount, never your card or UPI details.
• Usage data: basic technical logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) used for security and to keep the service running.

How we use information

• To provide the service: saving your resumes, generating PDFs and hosting public links you create.
• To sign you in and keep your account secure.
• To process payments and provide Premium features.
• To improve the product and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your resume content for advertising.

AI features

When you use an AI feature (resume review, cover letters, interview questions), the text needed for that request, such as your resume content and the job post you paste, is sent to our AI provider, Groq, to generate the result. Uploaded resume files are read in your browser; only the extracted text is sent. We don't use your content to train AI models. Please review AI output before using it.

Cookies and advertising

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. On some public content pages we show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent banner.

Ads are never shown inside the resume editor, your dashboard or on public resume pages.

Service providers

We rely on trusted providers to run the service: Cloudflare (hosting, database, PDF rendering), Groq (AI features), Google (optional sign-in, advertising) and Razorpay (payments). They process data only as needed to provide their services.

Data retention and your rights

You can edit or delete any resume at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at support@resume-8wo.pages.dev. Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, port or erase your data. Contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to resumes is restricted to their owner unless shared via a public link.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date.
